BEING LOOKED AFTER BY PLAINS VIEW SURGERY

I most recently attended the Plains View Surgery with a high blood pressure issue. I was looked after superbly by Nurse Sandy Gavin and the problem has been stabilised. In fact all the staff at Plains View Surgery are excellent and I personally have been well cared for with whatever ailment/problem I have had. I am 53 years old now so need more care than when I was younger. I am comforted by the fact that I am in excellent hands.

APPRECIATION OF THE BEST PRACTICE IN NOTTINGHAM

I have visited the practice, on several occasions this year, and have always found the staff courteous and helpful. Even when some patients appeared difficult, the staff still dealt with them in the same professional manner. The Doctors and Nurses are very approachable and appear genuinely interested in helping resolve my illness. All work together very efficiently, like a great team should. Don’t change and keep up the good work!

The receptionists are always welcoming, kind and courteous. My GP is very approachable every time I go, always listens to what I have to say and overall is a lovely nurse who is always happy to help!

CHRONIC SKIN ALLERGY

Suffering from a violent skin reaction since early February and trying different remedies with little effect, the nurse practitioner at Plains View solved the problem in a week. The relief is tremendous and I cannot thank them enough. Everyone at the surgery are always very helpful and on this occasion it seemed like a miracle cure. I feel privileged to be a patient there.

GOOD PRACTICE

I wanted to write this to say thank you to all at Plains View Surgery after listening to some horror stories patients were saying about their GP practice whilst I was having chemo at the City Hospital. Our family has been coming to the surgery since we moved here in 1968. Sometimes we struggle to get through by phone, but have always managed to get an appointment. The reception staff are always courteous. One in particular is a diamond: kind, helpful and empathic. The nurses and phlebotomist are lovely; always interested in how you are feeling and take time with you. Out of the current GPs I have seen one is fabulous; kind, supportive and caring. The other is always attentive and kind. So thanks very much all. I think we are lucky to have such a good practice.
